About me
I’ve always had a fascination of flying an aircraft since I was a child. Now I am extremely lucky to have fulfilled my childhood dream.
At 17 I joined the Royal Naval Fleet arm and went on to become an Air Traffic Controller, finishing my career as an instructor.
Whenever I could get airborne in one of the Royal Navy Helicopters I was there at the front of the queue. I even managed to get four days flying left hand seat with RNAS Culdrose Search and Rescue 771 squadron flying the old Wessex helicopters: one of my most treasured memories from the Royal Navy.
Fast forward some 30 years and I am now a qualified Flight Instructor for Gyroplanes and a private pilot for helicopters. I currently own a share in a Robinson 44 Helicopter.
My past career history hasn’t always involved aviation but there’s been a common theme of training and instructing. I have been involved with training students in IT and offer Microsoft IT security workshops. I have a natural flair for sharing knowledge and helping people succeed.
I look forward to flying with you.
